Summit for Women in Academic Medicine

WAM PLUS (People that Look to Us for Support) - June 1st 2023 12:00 - 5:00 pm at MaRS Centre auditorium

The Summit for Women in Academic Medicine (WAM) was launched in 2017 with the goal of creating a space for women in the Department of Medicine to share experiences, gain valuable skills, network and advocate for the development of strong female* leaders in Academic Medicine.  Through multiple iterations of the event, faculty and trainees have heard speakers, panels, and participated in workshops on topics of leadership, wellness, intersectionality, conflict management, allyship and communication.

The 2023 WAM PLUS summit was held on June 1 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the MaRS Centre Auditorium.

Support Women in Academic Medicine

Through generous support of sponsors, registration for the Summit is free of charge. We feel strongly that there should be no barriers to this work and all our faculty should have equal opportunity to participate. However, if you have the means, donations in any amount to the Fund for the Advancement of Women in Academic Medicine are greatly appreciated, and will help ensure that this work continues into the future.
