Symposium on Hidradenitis Suppurativa Advances
We are proud to announce that the 3rd Annual Symposium on Hidradenitis Suppurativa (SHSA) will be taking place in Toronto from October 12-14, 2018 at Women's College Hospital.
The SHSA is a meeting focused on all aspects of HS from epidemiology to pathogenesis, clinical characteristics, and the latest management options. We bring experts from around the world to share their experiences with HS.
It’s hard to believe that an unforgiving disease that affects millions of people remains so under recognized and under treated. Patients living with HS are some of the most unfortunate in dermatology and they need a multidisciplinary approach. The SHSA aims to bring the latest research and practical tips in HS for both specialists and primary care physicians, and provide a range of educational sessions in the format of courses, forums and plenary sessions on HS related topics from bench to bedside.
The 2018 SHSA will include workshops, case based discussions, debates and interactive panels to share experiences within dermatology and other disciplines. There has been a revolution in treatments for inflammatory skin diseases that also sheds light on the management of HS. With interest and research increasing on the topic of HS the meeting is rapidly growing, and was last held in Detroit (2017) with over 160 participants. On behalf of the Symposium on Hidradenitis Suppurativa Advances, we hope to see you all there. For more information you may visit http://www.hs-symposium.org/.
